Reviews and Ratings
The Euro hotel sovereign at Saint Denis provided a mixed experience. The rooms needed some care but I appreciated the warmth of the hotel staff. However, they were not spotless and had no WiFi available. On the bright side, a late-night hot drink from the reception was a nice touch.
The hotel had three tiny single beds in the room, which was extremely cold and smelled bad, but it was small yet functional. The service, although insisting on watching guests walk the short distance to the front door, was helpful. The location felt unsafe and rundown, with a high crime rate, although offering a view of the Eiffel Tower. The dining experience was terrible in the morning, offering only bread or croissants with jam or cheese. The facilities were in mismatched, badly stained, sticky, smelly carpet tiles.
The hotel had a layout resembling an enormous Moroccan riad with balconies surrounding a central courtyard, but the rooms had an indescribable smell and were not clean. The service was advised to arrive before dark, though hospitality was lacking and unprofessional. The location was central for Saint-Denis but warned to be dangerous with high crime rates. The dining experience was more than adequate but lacked variety. The facilities were disappointing overall.
The hotel is situated in a rough area of Paris, full of litter and with a concerning safety incident reported. On the upside, the location is close to the metro for easy transportation and the hotel offers delicious food.
The hotel is conveniently located near the metro for easy access to Paris attractions. The rooms have a hostel-like feel, with small space and basic amenities. The service was helpful with maps and directions, despite some lack of assistance in certain situations. The dining experience was adequate with basic continental options. The location is central for exploring Saint-Denis but safety concerns were raised due to incidents outside the hotel. Overall, a budget-friendly option with some limitations.
